For this brief, we were tasked to create an advanced illustration, and were given the freedom to design anything we wanted to within these guidelines. I decided to illustrate a few pages of a children’s book written by my dad, called Kenny the Kingfisher. For this, I wanted to include lots of bright and vibrant colours and so I used the African Pygmy Kingfisher as a colour palette for all of the pages I designed. As it is a children’s book, I kept the design style very simple and clean.
